Baby food manufacturers reported possible supply disruptions & nbsp
In Russia, there may be interruptions in the supply of baby and medical nutrition. Reports about it "Kommersant".
Problems are possible in connection with new measures of veterinary control, which take effect in April. According to the draft document, products to be subject to veterinary control must be issued veterinary certificates, import permits, and manufacturers must be included in the register of enterprises of third countries. Their number includes baby food.
In the Ministry of Agriculture, the tightening of the requirements was explained by the need to deal with counterfeit products. However, the largest manufacturers of the product fear that they will not have time to adapt to the new conditions. It is noted that about 90 percent of products in this market in Russia are imports.
Earlier, Russia's largest retail chains warned about possible problems with the supply of dairy and dairy products. Problems may arise due to the entry into force of the order of the Ministry of Agriculture with new veterinary norms on July 1.
