Canadian experts find out how safe home birth
Researchers at McMaster University in Canada conducted a large international scientific study to find out how safe it is to give birth at home without the help of doctors.
Academics studied and analyzed information from 21 works that were published from 1990 to 2016.
During the study, scientists compared the data of 500,000 cases of birth of babies at home and the same number in medical institutions.
As a result, it was established, as EClinicalMedicine writes, that deliveries outside the hospital do not increase the chances of a child dying during the birth or during the first four weeks after the process.
