Expenditures on education and health care in the Brest region will grow by 10%
On December 22, the Brest Regional Council of Deputies approved at a joint session with the meeting of the regional executive committee a draft budget of the region for the next year.
The document provides for an increase in spending on education and health by 10% compared with this year.
Such information was announced by the head of the chief financial department of the regional executive committee, Ivan Vabishchevich, who today presented the draft budget to the deputies.
In total, 71% will be spent on social needs in 2019 from the revenue part of the regional budget. It is planned to allocate 971 million Belarusian rubles to education, or 32% of the regional budget expenditures. The health sector will be allocated 610 million white. rub., or 25% of the budget.
