Children's tantrums – the phenomenon is quite common.

As a rule, it occurs in children aged 1 to 4 years. More than half of the children roll up hysterics to parents once a week or more often. Children know that if you cry loudly, you can get what was originally denied.

Comfort

As a rule, children cry for a reason. Often, they try to say that something bothers them. Therefore, before going to the store or on the street, make sure that the child slept, ate and was well dressed.

Selection

Give your child a choice. This is not a fateful decision. Just let the child decide for himself. Then he will have a feeling that he is in control of the situation, and also he will learn that each of his choices leads to certain consequences. For example, if you are going to the street, let him choose which hat he wants to wear. Then he will easily put on the hat he chose, and will not throw a tantrum that he wants to go outside without a hat.

Find out what's bothering the baby

This rule applies to children up to 2.5 years. They have a very small vocabulary (about 50 words) and cannot build sentences. However, they have their own desires, which they are trying to convey to you.

Take the child away

If you see that the tantrum is already close – distract the child. Switch his attention and it will help save you from crying and screaming.

Praise the child when he deserves it

So you motivate him to do well. Say nice things and then your relationship will change from minus to plus.
