In India, doctors divided conjoined heads of Siamese twins
At the end of 2017, Indian surgeons conducted a unique operation to separate Siamese twins with their heads fused together.
Doctors have warned that they can not give the family any guarantees that children will survive after the most complicated surgical intervention.
The separation of the 2.8-year-old twins took place in two stages, including also the reconstruction of the head.
By the way, such a mutation in the world is quite rare and occurs in one in 2.5 million pregnancies.
