Scientists dispel the most popular myth of village children
Researchers from the United States, who represent the University of California, dispelled the myth: "village children are more stupid than urban ones."
As it turned out, in reality, everything is different.
Academics conducted a study in which more than a thousand children participated.
In the course of scientific work, experts recorded differences in the IQ test scores.
As a result, it was found that among villagers IQ is significantly higher than that of their peers from the city.
According to researchers, such indicators are related to the environmental situation.
Urban children are exposed to PM10 particles, the latter quite often enter the mother's body during the carrying of the baby, which have a detrimental effect on the offspring.
These particles are the main cause of inflammatory processes in the placenta, which interferes with its normal operation.
