Scientists have proven that animals are the best friends of children
Psychologists from the United States have noticed that children are much more willing to contact with animals than with their brothers or sisters. Research materials are presented in the Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology.
In this regard, scientists say that it is pets that have a great influence on the development of a child.
To confirm their hypothesis, the researchers studied 77 families that have a pet and more than one child.
It was established that there were no conflicts in the child-animal relationship. Moreover, according to psychologists, in such families there was complete peace of mind, which cannot be said about the relationship between siblings and siblings.
At the same time, it was noticed that girls had a stronger attachment to pets than boys. This indicates the communication of the weaker sex on a thin level.
Thus, pets are involved in the formation of social skills and emotional well-being of children.
