Scientists say premature babies have less chance of marriage
British researchers have learned that premature babies in the future may have serious problems finding their sexual partners, as well as creating a family.
Academics conducted a global study of 4.4 million people.
In the course of scientific work, it was established that prematurely born babies have a 28% lower chance of starting a relationship than children born on time.
The chances of infertility are also very high – approximately 80% of premature babies cannot conceive a child in the future.
The author of the research, Professor Dieter Wolke, emphasized that medical workers, parents, and school teachers should provide special assistance to such children in social integration in order to equalize the chances of a happy future with children who were born on time.
