Australian researchers from the University of Griffith in Nathan announced a list of the most dangerous products for pregnant women. Hazardous products include: mayonnaise, potato chips, vegetable and animal fats.

It is noted that the study was conducted on rodents fed food with a high content of fatty acids, for example, linolenic acid.

As a result, the concentration of the hormone, which provokes spontaneous abortion, has increased significantly in mice.

Also, these products influenced the process of fetus formation – the proportion of male embryos decreased by 16%, while it did not affect the female ones.

Thus, foods that contain linolenic acid and other unsaturated fats pose a serious danger to pregnant women.
